ICE CLIMBING WORKSHOP
IN FROZEN WATERFALLS OF MENDOZA
Would you like to climb on ice and incorporate modern progression techniques?
Discover this outing designed to allow you to climb on ice according to your own level, incorporating essential knowledge to practice the sport safely. The workshop takes place in Las Cuevas or Vallecitos, depending on snow and ice conditions. The objective is that each participant can progress on vertical ice both in top-rope and first, making the most of the terrain to add meters of climbing.
In this outing we will spend 3 days and 2 nights in pure contact with the ice in the middle of the mountain range.
We will climb frozen waterfalls in winter conditions.
The approach to the waterfalls is done walking through adventure terrain of medium difficulty, where the duration of the trekking does not exceed one hour. All this with a team of professional and qualified guides who will provide you with the necessary assistance and safety at all times.

Planned itinerary
Although we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary described below, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions.
Reception + theoretical contents
Reception in Mendoza. We move to the caves or vallecitos in the morning, depending on the snow and ice conditions. After settling in the refuge and having lunch, we will have a theoretical class during the afternoon.
Ice climbing
Early in the morning we approach the terrain to begin the practice of the course, where we will remain all day and just before dark we return to the refuge to make the most of the daylight hours.
Ice climbing + closure
Again we go out to the field to finish developing the contents and continue practicing as much time as we have available.
In the afternoon, we return to the city of Mendoza and close the activity.
