ASCENT TO MAIPO VOLCANO
LAGUNA DEL DIAMANTE NATURAL RESERVE – 5300 MASL

Would you like to make a glacier transit over a large crater at an altitude of more than 5000 meters?

A spectacular ascent for lovers of high altitude mountaineering, the Maipo Volcano is located on the shores of the Laguna del Diamante in one of the most beautiful areas of the Mendoza mountain range.

It is located 220 kilometers from the city of Mendoza; immersed in the Main Mountain Range being its summit the limit with Chile.

With an altitude of 5323 meters above sea level, it has the typical conical aspect of a volcano, with similar slopes on all its flanks and a wide frozen crater at more than 5000 meters above sea level.

In this 6-day expedition we will set up multiple intermediate camps to acclimatize to the altitude as we ascend the volcano, surrounded by mountains.

Throughout the tour we will have incredible views of the Laguna del Diamante and the mountain range, we will make a glacier transit over the crater of the volcano to access the summit.

All this, accompanied by homemade food, nutritious, healthy and adapted to the needs of each participant, from the hand of a team of professional guides who will provide the necessary assistance and safety at all times.

Gracias!!

Nati y Hernán
