ARENALES ROCK CLIMBING
+ MULTI-PITCH WORKSHOP
Would you like to climb on rock walls of more than 100 meters in one of the most important climbing sectors in Argentina?
Discover this outing designed for everyone to live the rock climbing experience according to their own level. El Cajón de los Arenales is located a few kilometers from Manzano Histórico in Tunuyán, Mendoza. As a safety system, we use anchors previously fixed to the wall (“chapas”) which allows us to climb vertical walls in a very safe way.
In this outing we will spend 3 days and 2 nights in pure contact with climbing and in the middle of nature.
We will climb monolong routes and we will ascend a guided multi-pitch route.
The approach to the climbing walls is done walking through adventurous terrain of medium difficulty, the duration of the trekking does not exceed 2 hours. All this, accompanied by homemade food, nutritious, healthy and adapted to the needs of each participant, from the hand of a team of professional guides who will provide the necessary assistance and safety at all times.

We will visit a multi-pitch climbing school in the area. We will make a guided ascent of a multi-pitch route in workshop mode.
List of required equipment
The key to your comfort during active travel is to wear layers (see Layering Clothing Basics). For maximum comfort at minimum weight, you need versatile layers that combine insulation, ventilation and weather protection. That’s why we created this list to help you choose gear and bring only what you need. Weather and other conditions on the ground will dictate what clothing and gear you should wear each day.
