Would you like to walk through a valley surrounded by granite spires until you reach a crystal clear mountain lagoon?
An experience to enjoy and connect with the mountain in the Cajón de los Arenales, visiting an algura lagoon at more than 3000 meters above sea level. The access to the trekking in Valle de Uco is in Tunuyán, located 120km from Mendoza City.
In this outing we will trek through the Arenales Canyon. We will ascend through the valley until we reach a high altitude lagoon surrounded by mountains and steep granite walls. The trekking has little difficulty and no previous experience is necessary.
All this, accompanied by a homemade lunch in the mountains (typical dish of the region), nutritious and adapted to the nutritional needs of each participant, accompanied by a team of professional guides who will provide the necessary assistance and safety at all times.

Planned itinerary
Although we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary described below, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions.
Start of departure
We will meet in Tunuyán, where we will travel approximately one hour to the starting point of the trekking. It is necessary to have an ID card or passport to enter the reserve where the trekking takes place.
The trekking
We will ascend the drawer of the Arenales until we go up the first stopper, we will have lunch on the shore of the lagoons that are formed in its upper part. During the descent we will visit the main refuge of the valley, which is self-governed and maintained by climbers, and we will have a snack. Distance covered: 10 km Starting altitude of the trekking: 2.500masl Maximum altitude reached: 3.130 masl.
Return to the meeting point
At the end of the trek, we will return to the meeting point. End of service.
