TREKKING + WETLANDS
THROUGH THE SOUTHERN WATERFRONT RESERVE
What are wetlands? What is happening to them? Why is their conservation important?
We will walk 8 kilometers with backpack and poles along the trails of the Costanera Sur reserve, learning how to assemble your backpack, regulate it and walk with trekking poles.
All this, with a delicious homemade lunch included.
The tour has little difficulty and does not require previous preparation.
To learn even more about the wetlands of the Province of Buenos Aires, we will be accompanied by Julian Monkes, a graduate in environmental sciences from the UBA and a specialist in wetlands. You will be assisted at all times by our team of professional guides.

Planned itinerary
Although we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary described below, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond our control, including weather and terrain conditions.
Trekking
The activity starts in the morning, where we will have a practical workshop on how to assemble the trekking backpack, how to distribute the weight inside and how to regulate it. We will also learn how to use the trekking poles correctly. Once we have the mochi ready, we will start trekking 8km inside the reserve. During the tour we will learn what wetlands are, where they are, how important they are, what is happening to them and how we can get involved to protect them. We will enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by nature.
