INITIATION TO WINTER MOUNTAINEERING WORKSHOP
TECHNIQUES TO MANAGE ON SNOW AND ICE

Would you like to learn how to navigate winter itineraries with autonomy and safety?

This workshop is designed and planned so that you can get started in the practice of winter mountaineering, incorporating essential knowledge to develop the activity safely. The workshop takes place in Mendoza, in Las Cuevas or Vallecitos, depending on snow and ice conditions. The objective is for each participant to be able to climb on ice and develop autonomously on the snowpack, making the most of the terrain to incorporate safety and transit tools in winter itineraries.

In this workshop we will spend 3 days and 2 nights camping and working in the mountains in winter conditions.

You will climb on ice and learn multiple progression maneuvers, problem solving and safety.

The workshop is held in adventure terrain of medium difficulty. All this with a team of professional and qualified guides who will provide you with the necessary assistance and safety at all times.
